I owe you, you owe me. Blew me away!

New ZealandI am a full-time mother, a part-worker and casual photographer. I love life and The Secret more than I have ever loved anything else in my life.
My family and I decided to come home to New Zealand after living abroad for a while. When we came home, we struggled to find work and make ends meet for us and our children. We had gone through a couple of jobs that didn’t make ends meet and I was working in a job to support the family that I hated everyday. But I held on to the belief that I can if I want, make money just roll in like a massive wave.
One day I received in the mail notices from the Tax Department saying that I owed them over $3,000 for tax not paid while in another country. I thought firstly oh god, what to do? I don’t have that kind of money!
A couple of days latter when I was in the shower it hit me out of nowhere, if I owe you, then you owe me!
I got a hold of a calculator and worked out how much I believed they would owe me in Family Assistance for the time that we were not in the country but were still classed as a Tax Resident. I worked it out to be $15,000, so with a happy heart I said to my husband without doubt, “They owe us $15,000 and I will pay them from the money they pay me.”
Days went by and at times thoughts would sneak into my head like. . . what if it’s not that much? Or, what if I’m completely wrong, then how will we pay? But then I instantly threw it out of my head and said over and over again, THANK YOU FOR MY $15,000.
I sat while watching TV feeling like I had $15,000 in my bank account and I imagined the little standard TV as a big 42inch LCD TV. I just did everything I could to keep myself believing that I already had it.
I hadn’t got any mail from the Tax Department so one day it struck me to ring them, so I did. I asked about my Family Tax Credit and how it was going. The man on the other end said to me. “Yes actually you have a Credit for both years, the first year is for $7,000 and the second year is for $8,000”. That was my $15,000.
I wrote it down and showed my husband who was sitting across from me, he couldn’t believe it. It was exactly the amount I told him they owed me! I received that money within two days of that phone call and yes I paid them what I owed them out of what they owed me.
Now I have discovered that they owe me even more money in refunds and I am as sure as gold as to how much I will receive. I thank the Universe every day for all the Wealth, Health and Happiness it brings to me constantly.
Oh and by the way. . . I quit that job I hated and promptly fell into another job that was just perfect, and I got that big 42inch LCD TV. All thanks to believing in The Secret.
