I am a Cuban girl who emigrated to Argentina, looking for a better future for my parents and for myself. I have persevered all my life to fulfill my dreams, always by the hand of The Secret. I have gone through illnesses, serious family situations, unemployment and economic distress but time and time again I manifested a way to somehow get ahead. The Universe, or God, or whatever name people wish to call it, really has never abandoned me. So I believe with all my heart in the Universe, and I would like to share some of my stories with others. I would like to share my experience with you because reading about similar stories helped me to stay motivated and have faith in the process.

One of my biggest aspirations has always been to travel to Brazil. As someone who comes from a poor country, this dream seemed almost unattainable. However, many years ago, after watching the documentary “The Secret,” I put cutouts of Brazilian landscapes on my vision board. Finally, after years of hard work and determination, I managed to buy tickets six months in advance to travel to Brazil in February of 2023.

Unfortunately, in November 2022, I started experiencing excruciating pains in my lower abdomen. Despite undergoing various tests, including contrast tomographies, ultrasounds, and all kinds of scans and blood work, the doctors could not determine what was wrong with me. I was getting progressively worse, and I had several rounds of antibiotic treatments because they suspected it was an infection. However, I was not getting any better, and I ended up in the emergency room about 20 times due to the pain. The date of my dream vacation was getting closer and closer, but I was unable to eat anything and was in unbearable pain.

Despite my physical suffering, I refused to give up on my dream. I kept repeating affirmations to myself, saying “I am so happy and grateful for my recovery and for being able to go to Brazil and have my dream vacation. Thank you, thank you, thank you.” I wrote these affirmations in an application and said them out loud to myself every day.

Finally, fifteen days before my flight, the doctors found the root cause of my health problem: It was SIBO or Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth. They put me on a strict low FODMAP diet and gave me antibiotics. A week before my planned departure, I was feeling much better.

By the time of my flight, I was able to eat well and felt completely healthy. I was finally able to travel to Brazil, my dream destination, after years of waiting. My vacation was everything I had hoped for and more. The pictures I took were almost identical to the clippings I had on my vision board. It is amazing how powerful “The Secret” can be. I am so very grateful to the Universe for allowing me to achieve my dream and for everything in my life. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
