Once again, thank you to Rhonda for simplifying the law of attraction for everyone. I have been practicing the LOA for a little more than a year now. I hope my story inspires everyone who is looking for a job or everyone who is facing difficulties at work.

My job contract was terminated in May this year. In the past, I would get anxious if I had no income because I didn’t want to depend on anyone financially. So this time, when my manager told me they wouldn’t renew my contract, it didn’t affect me much. I kept very cool and calm, even to the point where I was surprised at my state of mind. In a way, I attracted this termination. I wasn’t growing as a professional, I wasn’t motivated by the kind of work I received and wasn’t happy with the job. I kept working because it was helping me pay my bills. Though I was initially worried about my finances when I learned about the termination, I reminded myself I had enough savings to sustain myself and my family for a few months.

I was working remotely, so being at home was normal for my family. June was full of remaining calm and deep down, knowing something better would happen soon. I have a family to care for, but I was happy and enjoying some “me” and “family” time. If anyone asked me about my job, I would say everything is going well. I never even once mentioned my joblessness to anyone. During this whole time, I would pretend I was working and had an excellent job. I would give thanks for my “current job” and I continued practicing this ritual daily.

I decided to apply for jobs in July after spending June with my family. Mid-July, I received an interview call without applying for any jobs. I just looked at the company one day before the interview date. I was very calm during the interview and replied to what I thought would be the correct answer. I hesitated once while answering because I wasn’t sure of the technical question. Still, again, I was in the mindset of everything happens for good. I thanked my interviewers for their time and forgot about the interview after it ended. The same evening, I got a call from them wanting to hire me.

I joined the company a few weeks later. The industry was completely different and something I had wished for a long time because I wanted to try something different. So obviously, work was very new and challenging. At first, I made errors to the point that my manager called me out for making silly mistakes. I had never experienced such complaints at work before. My manager made it a point to call me out on every task that I was doing. It affected me so much that I would cry after work and I also started to doubt my decision to join this new company, after just a few days of joining.

However, I wanted this job to get experience in this new industry, and the salary is good. I thought of giving my best and working anyway. In my daily gratitude journal, I also started thanking my manager for being patient, understanding, and helpful. In just a few days of giving gratitude, I started noticing a change in her behavior toward me. She was now polite while pointing something out to me, and she was much calmer while dealing with my tasks.

It has been a few weeks now in this new job. I continue giving thanks to her in my gratitude journal every morning. I am hopeful and happy with the work that I am doing and have also received praise for my work from her. My gratitude worked its miracles once again. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
