I am absolutely amazed at how the Universe conspired to help me send my daughter to New York. My daughter and her boyfriend, who comes from a very well-to-do family, asked that she accompany his family on a trip to NY. I am a single mom. I was already overdrawn on my bank account and maxed out on my credit card just waiting for my payday the following week. I really wanted her to go because she had not done anything fun all summer. She worked and did a summer school course to advance herself in math for the new year. She totally deserved this trip and I really wanted her to go. And being the awesome child that she is, she said to me, “Momma, it is ok. I do not have to go.”

Well, that made me want to send her even more!!! I wrote down exactly what I needed for her trip, $1,200, and I only had $200 after counting all my hidden change in the house. I started to tell my family that she wanted to go to NY and my mom sent her $300 because she was very proud of her marks. A friend gave her $700 because he wanted her to go and make me happy because he knew that I was a good mom. My dad gave her $300 for shopping. She was so happy when I told her she was going!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

My thoughts on her and wanting her to go so badly helped me to bring it all together. I am so amazed and feel very blessed that this all happened to her. I know how powerful the Universe is and how it always has my back in a moment of need.
