I Asked For My Soul Mate
Submitted by: Bambi D.
Winchester, VirginiaI am a twice divorced independent woman raising a teenage daughter. I work from home as a 29 year veteran at selling travel. Finding a mate would be challenging since I live in a smaller town.
On the day my second husband moved out, I applied The Secret’s guidance of making a Vision Board. I spent hours printing out the goals I wanted to obtain and one of them was finding my soul mate.
The Secret said to write it down and place on a board and review it every day. My list for my soul mate was made up of 41 characteristics from kindness, honesty, a trim large frame man with a head full of curly hair, to, he needs to be able to fix things around the house and know a little something about fixing cars. I reviewed this list daily and showed it off to friends and family. My Mother reviewed the list and said “Bambi, don’t you want to highlight a few of your top characteristics?” I said Mom these are my top ones.
I would look at this list and I could not remove a single characteristic. So I BELIEVED and on March 15, 2009 when my Father was fighting for his life in the CCU of Fairfax Hospital in walked my soul mate. A man I have known for 30 years. He first spotted me in 1979 when he was 18 and I was turning 17. I had not seen Bobby in 13 years but was kept up to date on him as he was kept up to date on me via my Father all these years. As Bobby and I got to know each other, share our past relationship stories, shared our values and goals, I shared with him my Secret of BELIEVING and my Vision Board. As we spent a month just talking, he asked me out (we both wanted me to be single, we went out 2 days after my divorce was final).
I am here to say that Bobby has ALL 41 characteristics. And he has been a dear friend to my Father and my Father loves him like a son. Thank you to The Secret, my soul mate found me and I found him. Bobby and I read The Secret Daily Teachings every day and I have proven to him that The Secret works.
