I have visited this site a million times and read so many stories…
and I have a little story to share:)

I work in a company in U.A.E and I live alone. It was a difficult situation because I didn’t have any friends or relatives nearby…and I didn’t know who to trust. I was slowly being pulled down by depression. I used to dread holidays because I would have to either be alone at home or go out alone… so this “ALONE” word was drilled into my mind and I was really scared and lost all my confidence in life.

On one such holiday, after watching the Secret for may be the 10th time, I declared to myself, “I am confident, pretty and happy. This world is full of love and everybody loves me!!” I had a very good feeling after that declaration, so I quickly dressed up and decided to go to the nearest mall. I was walking towards the mall, when a young man came to me and said, “Hi! You walk in such a confident way. You seem to be so happy that it radiates from you!” He then walked away…I was blank for a minute or two.
Can you dig that???
