Hi,

It’s quite beautiful weather outside as I am sitting in my room, putting into words the various emotions I have been through since I saw The Secret video.

I have always believed that if you want something with all your heart the whole universe conspires to get it for you, and my belief was strengthened by books like ‘The Alchemist’, and by various other situations in my life.

Though I knew that there existed a force that responds to me, I didn’t know how to find it or communicate with the force. The Secret helped me understand that the force lies nowhere but within us, and it has helped me tremendously. It has helped me with the most important person in my life.

I fell in love with a person who was already in love with someone else, and thought him to be her soul mate. I would have done what the situation demanded – walk away gracefully – but here I was pursuing the most impossible relationship ever. But something about her made me not give up hope. I didn’t think about any other person since the day I met her. Then, 7 months after I first met her, she told me that she had a breakup, and we started seeing each other. I was with her for a month, and I constantly thought I would lose her. And I did, in the month of January. After that we were in an on off relationship.

The day I read The Secret I had tears in my eyes. I knew I had created my own destiny. I felt a sense of gratitude for every single second I lived, for every fresh breath of air, for every morsel of food, for every person who loved me.

Since then my relationship has been excellent. we are very honest with each other.

My relationships at work have changed dramatically as well. I control the situations rather than the situations controlling me.

And little things happen all the time. I was walking to the bus stop to go to work. I saw from a distance of 200 meters a bus pullover at the stop. Even if I ran it would have been difficult to make it. But I visualized myself getting on the same bus. I walked at a very normal pace, without agitation, and not surprisingly the bus door was open when I came to it, as if it was just waiting for me. The bus driver smiled at me as I got on, and I smiled back.

The universe has its mysterious ways to make us happy. Just believe and you will get whatever the mind can conceive.
