My dream was to visit the US with my family and friends but I did not have a visa to travel there. I decided to try a couple of exercises and practices from The Secret books I read and The Secret movie that I watched.

The first thing that was mentioned in The Secret was to visualize what you want and feel gratitude for it as if you have already received it. So that’s what I did. Every night I would sit and visualize going in for my US visa and I imagined the consular telling me I had gotten the visa. It felt so exciting and real. I did that for months, feeling excited that I had gotten my visa.

The day came for my appointment and I was so nervous but I went and kept a positive mindset and continued to imagine that I had gotten my visa. I went in for the interview and the consular told me they will email me when my visa is ready! I could not believe it! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Everything I had imagined had come true and I had goosebumps for days just thinking that I created my dreams into reality by just believing and feeling grateful.
