Hi all! I would love to tell you about my story and how the law of attraction and positivity turned my life around.

Nine years back I saw my life crumble before me. As an adult, I was deep in a depression and was unhappy with the way life was. The next year I found The Secret. I did not understand it fully enough for it to work out consciously but I got into an amazing college. I love to say that because they accepted me and I love that place, that it was my dream place. I would say it was love come true for me. I was finally in the place I wanted to be. The first year was a learning phase. I slowly and steadily started to feel good in the college.

Within two years I found my balance. The next year an amazing guy wanted to be my friend. Six months in he told me he was in love with me. I never knew he was so much an admirer of mine. Owe it to past relationships of his and many other innumerable things, our relationship was taking a toll on us both. Despite all of this, we loved each other deeply. We traveled as much as we could. We made enemies and other people so jealous of us. It was like we were meant to be. Every moment with him was beautiful. I know I wished for a relationship that would make my world beautiful and it happened.

Fast forward 2 years later. He called it off as he was getting ready for an arranged marriage. I was heartbroken but he still kept on meeting me and checking up on me often. I couldn’t get past the hurt and things were in ruins between us. However, there was this thing in my heart that told me we were meant to be, even though I did not see how. A year and a half later he got engaged to a beautiful person and I left my desires and my love then and there. I didn’t want to break what was between them and I didn’t know how I could love someone else again. That was the second blow I would take that year. I gained weight and I was so sad beyond words. I lost my zest toward life and slowly retreated into myself to become a couch potato.

Over the months my family got alarmed at my age and started searching for a groom for me. This pushed me to come out of it and find my love for fitness and in my job. Over the months I trained myself to be healthier and lo behold, I had not been this best version of myself in years.

Another surprise was that my ex came back to me, seeking out my hand in marriage. If this happened some years ago, I know I would have broken any norms there was to be with him. But now that I know the value of each and every thing in my life, I asked him to seek out permission through my family. He eventually went through a series of questioning and back and forth meetings with my family. But he got through it all in one piece. The distance between our homes was an issue but eventually, it didn’t matter. As for his family who I was scared of, they were very welcoming to me and were happy to have me!

Dreams and desires that you have felt so strong in your heart do come true, even when you no longer consciously think about them. I am the living proof that miracles happen and this is my miracle.
