I had read The Secret quite a few times but I never quite implemented it in my life until last year, and boom! What followed is nothing short of a miracle.

We had been trying for a baby for quite some time but we had been unsuccessful. We consulted a gynecologist who asked me to take some medicine for 3 months and after that, we would have to get some tests done and then visit her again. But then there was another COVID wave and everything was shut down so I stopped taking the medication. Almost towards the end of the year I gave up hope of ever conceiving.

That was when I remembered The Secret. I thought about conceiving and delivering a healthy baby boy. I was genuinely happy. I made an entry in my journal in the month of November, thanking the Universe for my baby. I listened to a lot of pregnancy affirmations on YouTube whenever I had free time. I genuinely believed I was pregnant. My husband and I then stopped trying. No more keeping track of my periods and ovulation dates and we just left everything to the Universe.

I missed my period the next month which was normal for me because I have irregular periods. But I just knew I was pregnant. Random people who I hadn’t spoken to in a long time messaged me asking if I was pregnant. I took it as a sign from the Universe and thanked the Universe each of the 3 times it happened. Then the night before I did my pregnancy test, I made another entry in my journal thanking the Universe for the 2 pink lines and I actually imagined myself jumping in joy.

The next morning I took the test knowing what the result would be and now I am a mother to a 3 month old boy!!!
