I believed, and so I received. My story outlines how the Universe responded to my thoughts and beliefs and led me to my dream partner.

Dream partner by age 21. I first met my ‘now’ husband in high school as he was my older brother’s best friend. He was a “bad boy” and I was still quite innocent, having not yet lived through what I didn’t know I needed to. Timing is everything. We both had partners at the time and had we been together at that time, it is unlikely that it would have worked out due to who we both were as “people”.

Nonetheless, we used to ride the school bus together, and I would tell my mother all about our discussions each day. I had once told my mother around the age of 15 that, “I’m going to marry him one day”, to which she responded, “No you’re not, just stop!” My husband stopped attending school and eventually “fell off the face of the earth” and out of my life.

Over the next few years, I had various unsuccessful relationships, one of which was quite toxic. I had harmful, limiting beliefs around not being “good enough”, “not being worthy of love”, “getting what I deserve”, “making my bed and having to lay in it”, and I felt like I was somehow asking for the abuse I was enduring.

A friend entered my life briefly and helped me discover my worth, which helped me gain the courage to leave this last relationship. I spent the next year and a half working on addressing my personal issues and limiting beliefs, having realized that I was unintentionally asking for an abusive relationship due to those beliefs. My future relationships would be no different if I didn’t address those beliefs.

Meanwhile, my now husband and I hadn’t seen or spoken to each other in six years. It turns out that we had both left our small town of Ontario, Canada on the same day. We arrived in Alberta, Canada on the same day. Then we reunited unexpectedly across the country, exactly one year later in a town neither of us lived in. At that point, we were both single, and I had experienced enough to know exactly what I wanted in a relationship. We have been happily together ever since, and he is my best friend. He is the kindest, most caring, thoughtful, romantic, doting, and funny partner ever, and he never lets me go a day without feeling loved, adored, and cherished.

At age 28, I currently live an amazing life, with my dream partner, in my dream country, doing my dream job. I feel immense gratitude for what I currently have, and am open to the possibility of change and further opportunities. My story outlines only some of my major life experiences and doesn’t include any of the mini-miracles I have experienced. I currently have my dream partner, my dream car, my dream job, my dream country, my dream home, my dream lifestyle, and it is only continuing to get better!

I have known about manifesting since I was young thanks to my Mom. I learned about The Secret around age 14 when it was first released. I didn’t begin consciously utilizing my power until my young adult years. I was introduced to The Magic around the age of 25 which has worked wonders for my life. I’ve also recently read The Greatest Secret and it truly is the greatest secret! It is amazing and life changing. I had no idea the amount of limiting beliefs I maintained. I can literally imagine the life I can and will live with this new knowledge. I have manifested my whole life so far, and it has only been 28 years! I am so excited for my journey to continue and to enjoy every second of the process.

Anything is possible, all you have to do is believe.
