My name is Kaycee. I’m 20 years old, and The Secret changed my life in EVERY aspect.

My family was not well off when I was growing up. We moved a lot, changed schools a lot, parents fought like there was no tomorrow, and money was always short. Growing up I never had a positive outlook on life. After all, I was surrounded by negative feelings, and I just thought, “Such is life…”

It wasn’t till I hit rock bottom that I found out that life was really truly what YOU made it. I was living with a man I did not love, working a job I HATED (and focused on that daily), I was living away from most of my family, and had literally NO friends. It was your typical treadmill effect: work, go home, sleep, work, go home, sleep… so on, so forth. I thought that if I ran away from the mess my life could get better. But you can’t run away – it only makes things worse. So I came home just to visit, thinking that if I make-up with my family, things – or at least my outlook – would get better. Little did I know that I would be introduced to The Secret from a total stranger in a bar. At first I thought it was a bunch of crap. Sorry, but I did. But I’m pretty open-minded, so I gave it a shot.

I started with something little: an order of FREE Burgerville French fries. I was off to work one day and I started that day off with, “What do I want to eat today? French fries!!!!” They sounded so good I could feel my mouth water, and I focused on that feeling. I didn’t have a car at that time and Burgerville was too far away to walk to. Oh, and I had no money. I didn’t let those feelings get to me. I said, “I’m getting some French fries and that’s all there is to it!” Come lunch time I’m outside enjoying the sun with my cup of noodles and I see one of my coworkers come walking up with a Burgerville bag. I immediately shouted, “HEY, GOT ANY FRIES YOU DON’T WANT?” He came up to me and handed me the whole thing of French fries, and said, “I don’t know why I got them – I NEVER order French fries. Have them all.” And from that day on I knew things were going to get better! And they absolutely did!!!!!

I sat down and thought of everything I wanted in life. The man I wanted to date, the car, the house, but the thing I wanted most and the soonest was to go to college and not have to work while doing it. Well, I held that thought close, and every time someone said anything about college I blurted out, “OH, I’M GOING TO COLLEGE! Don’t know how, don’t know when, but I AM!!”

About three months after I decided I was setting my goal to go to college, I got a call from my father, and he said that I qualify for school help from the VA as a dependent of his, and that once I started college I would get $880.88 a month to live off or pay tuition with. So I started applying to college, and I only needed to apply to one – the one I wanted to go to – because I KNEW I would get in. And I did – about a week after I got my GED I started college!!!!

Since then I have been attracting all sorts of things I wanted, like my laptop, brand-new for only $500 when it was going for $950 – and there is a story behind that too.

My boyfriend is the most wonderful person I have ever been with – he is so loving and treats me well. My roommate is as cool as they get. The list goes on. My family is kind of coming around too, and every day I have so many things to give thanks for.

I try and make it my goal to share The Secret with anyone who will let me. I think by sharing something so wonderful like The Secret will bring good things back to you tenfold.

Life is truly beautiful and the possibilities are endless. All you have to do is let them happen and trust that they will, because you have the power to make it so.

So now instead of thinking “such is life,” I think “much is life,” because there is so much you can do and have if you just go out and get it!!!
