Amazed. That was the only word that I could think of when The Universe decided to nudge me with its presence.

I have anxiety, so there are times when I wake up anxious. I get palpitations, sweaty hands, my body is twisting and turning, and I sometimes have rapid, shallow breathing. Yesterday was one of those days. I even woke up late due to my failure to set my alarm the night before.

Due to getting up late, my Monday started off in a rush. For most of my morning, everything felt off balance. Like I was still rushing because I was late for work. Usually, when this happens to me, I find ways to bring myself back to the present moment or even to simply catch my breath. At that time, journaling felt like the right thing to do. I could not write as much as I wanted to though since I was at work already. So I pulled out a sticky note and wrote down 2 desires that I wanted to manifest for the day:

1. A free coffee today.
2. Getting $10 today.

I then kept the sticky note tucked in my pocket and went about with my day. Just before my shift ended, my co-worker came up to me and handed me a gift card, saying that it was from a patient that had been looking for me. I work at a medical facility and she was one of my patients.

When I opened it, to my surprise, I saw that it was a gift card from Starbucks worth $10! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I was in awe of how quickly my desire had been given to me by the Universe! But it didn’t end there. Before I left, I was given a Christmas card from my manager. When I opened it, I saw that it contained a Tim Horton’s gift card worth $25!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I could not believe how such a small request to the Universe had made so much of an impact on my day.

This was not even a big manifestation but it was an amazing one. It also served as a reminder to me. I am sure you have all heard of this before, but it is true. The Universe is always listening. One just simply has to ask. Ask and you shall receive. Believe in yourself and believe in the Universe. Thoughts become things. Smile more. Desire and manifest often. Have faith. Love, no matter what. Dream a lot.

I hope this all inspires you to take action and know that everything you have ever desired, already has your name on it. Just simply ask but make sure you learn how to detach, to let it go as well.
