So, I was 7 months into my pregnancy and I was advised to get a 3D Sono scan. I was quite headstrong on getting it done at a particular lab with Dr. X, as he is known to be the best. I did make it very clear to my husband that I wanted the best for our child. I was anxious about this pregnancy as I had an ectopic pregnancy just last year.

However, my husband booked the scan at a place that I was not keen on because he had some contacts there. I did not want to retaliate as I thought I would only end up losing my focus on a good and positive mental state.

When we reached the place for our scan, I obviously had to let go of my desire of getting the scan with my chosen doctor. However, I did not lose faith in The Magic.

Then a very interesting series of things started to happen. First, my husband got a parking ticket for parking in the wrong place in the car park. Then out of the 6 blood tests that I had to get, the lab was only able to do 5 of them. Then we waited for almost 20 minutes for the Sono doctor to come in. He explained the entire scan in depth, considering we were both doctors too. He took almost 40 minutes. Then at the end, he suddenly called his secretary and told her to refund our money. He apologized and said that the scan looked extremely good, however, he did not have the type of 3D scan that my doctor had asked for. He then suggested to us that we visit Dr. X. The very same doctor that I had always wanted to go to in the first place!

My faith was restored and I was out of my skin! I could not believe what was happening. Finally, I got the scan from the doctor I wanted to see. He actually showed us the face of our child who by fluke looked just like me. Dr. X also showed us an important medical procedure related to our field and even discussed a professional opportunity with my husband.

All in all, my faith in The Secret and The Magic has quadrupled! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I am feeling short of ways to say thank you and give gratitude for what just happened! Even my husband was shocked!
