I am a living example of how true The Secret is.

A year and a half ago I was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata, an autoimmunity disease that makes you lose your hair. Things went from bad to worse. My self-esteem died. I had to cover up all my bald spots and my parents underwent a lot of emotional trauma along with me. We spent money like water, cried tears, and more sadly, my family which was already broken became even worse. Every morning I had to rely on someone else to apply the medicine to my bald spots. As a girl going to college in this state, it killed me deeply. I had to hide my hair. Then slowly the bald spots spread onto my body too! The condition got so bad that I was thinking about suicide to end this.

Then suddenly I came across The Secret and it completely changed my life! I understood that I deserved to be healthy and happy. I understood that all my childhood trauma and abuse had caused the autoimmunity.  I took a stand to give myself the love that I always gave others because I now understood that I deserved love too. I learned to love and cherish myself and I moved away from or ignored negative people. I created a ‘placebo belief’. I told myself that gratitude, water, and exercise kill all the cells that cause autoimmunity!

Lo and behold! A week later my hair stopped falling out! I was not getting any more bald spots! A month later my hair was growing back! Three months later on my birthday, my classmates complimented me saying that I was the angel of the college and they asked me if I was now wearing a wig! They said that I looked like Rapunzel! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

People, do not give up! You deserve love, beauty, and happiness. Do not let trauma and negative people overtake you. Be grateful. Be healthy. Because you deserve that and more. I am so thankful for The Secret and Rhonda.
