Holiday time
Submitted by: PB
IrelandA very happy person. A loving wife, mother, and friend.
I am a person that just loves to go on holidays. This year, however, it wasn’t looking good. My husband is concentrating on his new business, and felt he couldn’t get away as he had no one to cover for him. Also our finances were a bit low, and taking 3 kids abroad is not cheap!
I was feeling a bit low for a few weeks over the situation, and kept remembering the great holiday we had last year. I decided to attract a holiday, and started a little chant in my head, “We’re going on our holidays”, over and over again.
I received an email from the car hire company we used last year, and checked prices for the end of the following week. It seemed reasonable, so I checked the price for the campsite, and they were doing a special discount of 20%. So then I checked the flights, which were so cheap it was almost hilarious!!!
I texted my husband to tell him the price, and he made a few calls and found someone reliable to do his work for a week. I called work and was told I could have the week off no problem. Everything just fell into place. And we have just returned from a week abroad where we had a wonderful time, wonderful weather, and hassle-free travel. All this for 1,100, which included flights, car hire, and accommodation on a fabulous campsite with endless fun.
Now that’s not bad! And all thanks to a bit of belief and gratitude.
THANK YOU UNIVERSE…
