I have to admit that there were times when I was a skeptic about the law of attraction but now I can never deny it with all the incidences for which I have no logical explanations and there have been many.

I have been stressed about how to go about life ever since I realized that I am completely uninterested in the career that I am pursuing. I have always been confused in this area and have jumped from one area to another. Finally, I had convinced myself that I wanted to be an Economist but that was shortlived. However, as I am almost towards the end of completing my Masters in Economics, I felt stressed that I may not be able to start over. Over the course, I realized that I was always interested in making things, using my hands, rather than conceptualizing. A little while later I realized that I had always been interested in Interior Designing. However, knowing that my parents are struggling financially, I also feel the need to start earning as soon as I can. In such a situation, starting over seems extremely daunting.

Now let me get to the point: This morning I woke up, did my morning meditation. I turned on my phone an hour later only to find out I had a lecture scheduled in fifteen minutes that I would not be able to get to. Usually, I would be really scared of missing out and would start to imagine a miserable life if I could not score perfect scores. I should mention I also suffer from anxiety. Instead, today I accepted the situation and let it go.

I felt a sense of calm as if no matter what happens, everything was bound to fall into place. That I will graduate, contribute to my family as well as be able to follow my dreams. That I did not have to suffer. That I could really have it all.

Then in the next hour while going through old newspapers to make paper bags to put in the garbage can, I came across an article about various platforms available for students to encourage their side hustle and provide freelancing jobs so college students could make some money. At that moment I felt as if the Universe was giving me a big hug and telling me that it’s alright, I got you.

For anyone who needs this, I know everyone tells you that there is only one way to go about life. But if you let go a little and trust yourself and and the all-knowing Universe, you will see pathways being paved for you.
