Recently my boyfriend and I had the day off so he said that we should make it a date day. What is a date day? Well, you have heard of a ‘date night’, right? He just made it into the whole day.

Anyway, I had received an automated call about our light bill that was overdue and we were already halfway to where he was taking me, so he said that we would handle it later.

Okay, a nice 4 hour drive later, I wake up and we are in Colorado Springs. Oh my goodness, God is so awesome, he made the perfect picture of those mountains and I could not stop looking and taking pictures. Well, long story short he had looked in my vision book and had seen that this was on my list of places to go and just decided to take me.

The issue of that light bill was still on my mind because they were going to shut my lights off if we didn’t get back in time. Thank God they were still on when we got home. The bill was paid and I had the best ‘date day’ ever.
