If You Ask, Then It Will Be Given To Thee.

USAHappily married.
When I went to college, I ran into a group of people that called themselves prayer warriors. The taught me about asking and believing that I will receive what I asked for. One day we were all praying (asking) for our future spouses. I was directed to be very specific, so, I was.
My husband would be a knight or soldier in our times. A handsome man who would be kind, respectful, did not curse, smoke or do drugs. A man whose family adored him and who would love and respect me. A man who had equal intelligence or education to me and would love books and movies.
Well, years turned into a decade and a half. My family and friends would become more insistent yearly that I must go out on dates with men they suggested. But I refused. Why? Because part of my request was that I would receive a sign that the man I was to marry would have a last name with a certain number of letters, his first name would mean beloved of God, and other things I asked for to help me know it was him.
Well, I kept on believing I would meet him and I have. Met him when I was 37. It was and has been the best day of my life.
We have been married for 16 years now. Because I asked, I believed my request, I received. I love my dear, sweet, handsome husband and he does have the name listed in the bible that means beloved of God.
