My life was going smoothly until after my high school years, when I moved to Nagpur to pursue my graduation in Bachelors of Engineering in Electronics. I met a guy in college and fell in love with him. This was the first time I was in love and it made my life turn upside down. I was on the top of the world and we decided to get married after college. But fate had other plans for me. After completing graduation, my boyfriend cheated on me and we broke up. I was disheartened and was in a depression. I visited psychology counselors and tried everything to heal myself but nothing worked for me. I was deeply hurt.

My best friend told me about The Secret and asked me to read it. I tried to read it since I was lost and upset. I tried but stopped reading The Secret and did not try tried to read it again for a long time.

I moved from Pune to Bangalore for my dream company and I found a roommate who had a similar experience as me. She was now living her life with dignity and she was happily single. I found a very good friend in her. I shared my experience with her and she understood my feelings and problems. I started feeling good about myself. I started feeling happy but deep in my heart I wanted someone in my life, however, I was scared to make any commitment.

I got engaged and I tried to love my fiancee but it did not work out. After a few months, I moved from Bangalore to New Delhi, my hometown, because of my official work. I was very happy coming back to my home. Everyone was around me, especially my mother who loves me unconditionally.

Since Delhi is my birth place and I did my school education from Delhi, I have some beautiful memories here. I was happy revisiting old places. I started to feel really happy like I used to be earlier in school. I tried to involve myself in lot of activities like dancing, working out, aerobics and reading novels.

One day, I was in the office on the weekend and there was no work so I started searching for the “The Secret” book online to buy. I found it and started to read it. I found it very interesting and the stories in the book were inspiring. I also watched The Secret movie and found it very inspiring. I also practiced Buddhism as one of my friends in the office had introduced me to it. Both The Secret and Buddhism changed my life. They made me much stronger from the inside and I felt I was much more confident than before. Then after a while I found out about “The Magic” and started practicing the law of gratitude for 28 days. It changed my life completely. I started maintaining a record of gratitude towards my life and put my wish list in a diary. I used to read it every day after writing it.

I felt content and happy from the inside. It changed my perception towards life completely. In my gratitude diary, I wished about becoming a famous person. I had no idea how I would achieve it but it was my dream to become a famous personality either by dancing or by modelling.

One day I found an advertisement on social media regarding fresh faces required for a beauty contest. They were not looking for any professional models having a good height or a curvy figure, which I don’t have. I applied for the auditions and I got a call back after a few days saying that I was selected for auditions. I appeared for auditions and I cleared the preliminary round and I will be going for the grand finale! I am currently grooming myself for the finale.

This was my ultimate dream and I don’t know how I got the chance other than by just showing gratitude to Universe. I never asked how it would be done, I wished for it and I got it. It’s very simple. Life is magical, don’t doubt on the Universe. Believe in it. Always say thank you and follow your dreams.
