After watching The Secret I decided to follow the rules without question and decide what I really want. Since then my life is becoming magical. My wife goes to Bingo every week and never wins anything. Guess what, since the Secret she has won 3 times! Coincidence? No, it is the Secret, because I want money flowing to me. And at work attitudes have changed to me, and people are going out of their way for me and helping me.

But I want to share with the world just one story if I may, which is proof to me that the law of the Universe is supreme and all good.

In 2002 my grandmother was admitted to Wythenshaw hospital in Manchester England. She was 86. During this time I would go to her apartment to collect mail and put lights on and off. One afternoon I noticed a video on the display cabinet called ‘The Getaway’, and I decided to watch it while my grandmother was in hospital, and return it before she came out. That week the consultant told me that he could do no more for my Gran and that, “It was only a matter of time.” I was heartbroken, and stayed at her side night and day.

(Now, my grandfather died 6 years before, and he was a creature of habit. Every Saturday he would eat two Hollands pies (local dish) before going to see his favourite football team.)

On Tuesday 25th June in the afternoon my Gran’s condition worsened, and at 4.00 I kissed her cheek, told her I loved her, and asked her one last request, which was, “Please let me know you are happy and ok.”

At 5.00 she passed away. I drove home where my wife old me I looked terrible and would I eat something. She said, “I bought two Holland Pies this afternoon.” I said, “Why?” My wife said, “I just thought you may like them.”

That evening at 11:00 channel 5 stated tonights programme, but, “Terminal illness amongst the elderly has been cancelled – we are now showing THE GETAWAY.”
