Believing Makes It So!

I am so very excited to share with you how I manifested a new job in just 2 weeks! For the past few months I had been working at a job that was highly stressful. I worked in a closet that was turned into a makeshift office and I shared a computer and workstation with 13 other people. The General Manager was difficult to get along with and I was told that I was expected to work 55 hours and more a week after I was hired. I knew I could not be successful in this type of environment and I decided that it was time to leave after 6 months. I was very nervous to quit a job without securing another one, but I was absolutely miserable. In my heart, it felt like I was making the right decision with this leap of faith. So, I quit.
I had been sending out resumes prior to quitting. I had secured a couple of interviews but I never heard back from the companies and they provided no response even after I followed up with them. I started to get nervous as I thought about the magnitude of the decision I had made. However, I pushed those thoughts aside and focused on the good ones. That meant being thankful for everything I had and all that was coming to me. Well, week one came and went and I did not have a new job. Still, I kept thanking God and acting as if I already had a job, how I was going to set up my new office, looking at office accessories and a new work bag. Despite what it looked like, I thanked God in advance for my new job and I visualized my success.
And you know what? On Thursday of week two, I received a call from a company who came across my resume. They invited me to an interview for a new position in the industry I was looking for a job in, and on Friday I was hired. Exactly two weeks after I had quit my old job I had a new job!
I know that if I had not taken a leap of faith and or had not been thankful in advance of seeing the manifestation, things would not have worked out so incredibly for me. Sometimes, you just have to take a leap!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
