Ask. Believe. Receive. That is the mantra of my life!!!!!! This story goes back to the year 2012. At that time I had not read The Secret, I just believed that there is a certain force above us.

I am an international rated chess player. I started playing chess from a very young age but l had to drop it due to studies and other family reasons. Hence after 8th standard I just played school tournaments and hardly did any chess practice. But after 12th exams I suddenly wanted to play chess again.

In our city there was a big international grandmaster level tournament being organised. I was very excited about playing that tournament. I registered in the tournament and went for the inauguration and other events. After inauguration and as the 1st round was going to start, I just got nervous. There were many grandmasters and other great players in the tournament hall. I was getting even more stressed as I was out of practice for 4 or 5 years and all players there had been practicing for 8 to 10 hours a day.

I still geared myself up and sat on the board and just prayed to God to make everything fine and then I just started playing. I just kept remembered God and I prayed to him before every round. It was very important for me to win the last round in order to get a prize, but unfortunately I lost my last round. It disturbed me a lot but then after the round, I just made sure that I stayed positive and I again prayed to God. I decided that no matter what, I was going to get one prize. I told him in my mind that I did my best and so, even if I did not know how, I will get a prize and he will help me to get one no matter what.

Hola! I opened my final standing list and to everyone’s surprise I had won the ‘Best Women’ prize from the city prizes. The prize was for Rs. 10,000! I was so happy. Later in the same year I came to know about The Secret and then I was able to connect the dots.

It is not important to think of how you will achieve your goals. It is just important that you believe you will achieve them. You need to have full faith in the Universe and then whatever it is that you want will be delivered to you. Thank you.
