I have known The Secret since 2013-2014  I guess, and I was very enthusiastic about practicing the principles of The Secret. I had been very successful in the past as well.

In 2015, I came to the US to do my Masters. The first year was very stressful for me. Not just with academics but with a shift to a new continent, new people, a new culture, just about everything was new. It was during this time that my Mom asked me to speak to a guy who she thought could be my potential partner. I agreed because I did not want to disappoint her but I was skeptical from the very beginning as my attention was focused on someone in my class. But the first time I spoke to this guy, we ended up speaking for 4 hours! That was a first! But this was also a trying time for me because of internship recruitment and some other personal issues. Long story short, even though this guy was a great one, I completely blew it.

By Jan 2016, we’d stopped talking. I texted him once around May, 2016, thanking him for all his help. He responded back with a polite message wishing me luck but nothing else. I had secretly hoped that me texting him would rekindle our friendship but nothing of that sort happened.

Fast forward to 2017. I still thought of him often. I had moved to his city after graduation. It was tearing me apart that I was so close to him and yet so far. That’s when I took to LOA again. I began wishing for a reconnect with him. Just so I could apologize for my foolishness, if nothing else. I’d stare outside of my apartment window wondering where he was, what he was doing. I’d scan the crowd around me on the streets to see if he was around. Nothing.

I started visualizing a message from him. Just a “hey”. Every morning I’d visualize this message and I would always feel so excited. Of course I had moments of doubt since we had not been in touch for more than a year. But I was mostly positive.

Five days after my visualization exercise, I was at the beach. I had just finished walking and had sat down to read for a bit. This guy on a bike sat down next to me. I looked at him and froze! It was “my guy”. I must have had such a strange expression on my face that he asked “Do we know each other?”. I then told him that I was the same person he had spoken to a year back. We had only spoken on the phone, we had never met in person. He was as shocked as I was and we got to chatting.

It was my last two weeks in the city and I just ‘bumped’ into “my guy”! What are the odds?? He usually travels every week but he was in the city that week. We spoke for an hour. I headed back home and in a bit I got a text from him in which he just said “Hey!” The exact message that I wanted. I just broke down.

I just want everyone here to know that you are a powerful manifestor and if I can do it, so can you.
