In January 2017 it snowed very heavily in my hometown and at that time my father told me that such heavy snowfall was pretty common when he was a kid. However, due to climatic changes it was quite uncommon as of now. He also described a time when it snowed in the month of May and that struck a chord with me because I’ve never seen it snow anytime after February. Also, at that time we were living in our old house and I wanted to witness snowfall in 2017 from our new home. But it didn’t happen. We shifted in February and by that time the weather had already started to warm up so there was no chance of witnessing the snow again.

A few days ago the weather started becoming quite gloomy and there were frequent rain storms and showers. And today on the 10th of March it snowed! And that too quite heavily. But the weird thing was just after the heavy snowfall and very cold morning as well as afternoon, the sun came up and melted the majority of the snow leaving bare traces of the white that had surrounded us a while ago. It was mesmerising and magical. I can not describe my happiness. It was something very simple but it gave me immense joy and strengthened my belief.
