I would like to thank God and Ms. Rhonda Byrne for sharing The Secret to the world. Thank you to The Secret team for sharing their knowledge and expertise on the law of attraction. Thank you also to all the contributors of The Secret team who keep The Secret alive because of your stories. Thank you to the Universe, who always says “Your wish is my command!”

For the past 6 months I had been depressed, afraid, angry, hateful and feeling self-pity due to a messy breakup with my boyfriend. For those months I had a lot of “What ifs”. Like if I had not gotten angry with him during the time that he was consoling me, we would not have broken up. If I stayed sweet and clingy, it would not have had to end up like this. If I had not accused him of having a relationship with another woman while we were together, he would not have broken breaking up with me.

I tried everything to feel better. I read The Power, did The Magic, wrote in a gratitude journal, followed the advise from the contributors on The Secret website, watched The Secret movie. I practiced gratitude, thinking that he would come back to me in no time, but none of them seemed to work! I was more frustrated, angrier and even more depressed, especially when I would see girls liking and commenting on his social media accounts.

Then one day, it hit me. God made me realize that everything I had done was all wrong. I realized that none of them worked because I still felt the fear, anger, depression and hate towards him. Instead I needed to be feeling love, the feeling of happiness when we were together and most of all, the act of forgiveness.

After I realized that, I felt the feeling of happiness in my heart. For the first time in 6 months, I felt the joy in my heart and I had a smile on my face. I realized that nothing will happen if I still feel and think negative thoughts towards him. That same weekend blessings poured out in my life. I met new friends and I generally became happier. For the first time, when I saw his updates on his social media, I was happy and it was nice to know that he was doing okay.

Then I tried to follow the advise shared by the contributors on the website and from the movie.I reread and followed The Power and The Secret teachings, as well The Magic practices. And for the first time, I felt really amazing! I was able to live my life to the full and hoped that everything turns out fine.

Two weeks later, one afternoon, he messaged me on messenger. He asked how was I doing? And told me that he would like to connect with me again, that’s why he sent me a message. He asked me to meet him the following day to reconcile. After a long talk, apologies, hugs and cries, we got back together!  It was the most amazing thing that has happened to me. That’s when I realized that it’s just a matter of forgiving someone you love.

To everyone who is reading my story, thank you! I would like you to know that in order for you to move on and let go a person who you feel hurt by, you have to forgive yourself and them. Especially if that person is a person you love. Blessings will pour into your life like a tidal wave like you have never imagined.
