I first learnt of The Secret when it first came out but dismissed it as one of the new trending “New Age” practices. It was after a bad break-up that I was inspired to get The Secret and also The Power and The Magic which were all so helpful. I also had so many things going on which forced me to reflect on my life and I decided that I deserved much more than I got in life. However, it took weeks of mindset resetting to finally come to a position of believing that life can actually be awesome. I started keeping a gratitude journal and tried to give as much love as possible.

One of the wishes I had was to get back to my career with a job that I would enjoy doing. As the job was in another country, I had to apply for a visa. Because I had previously lived in that country and eventually encountered immigration issues, I was initially sceptical that I would get a visa. I wrote in my gratitude journal and wrote the date on which I would receive my passport with a visa.

Even though I submitted my visa application less than 2 weeks from the date I had written to get it, I got my passport with the visa! Just less than a week after I submitted it and on the date written in my gratitude journal!

The story doesn’t end there. Getting a plane ticket was an exercise because the dollar exchange issue was worsening in my country. As time drew closer for my departure, I had to force myself to focus on the positives and the happy things. And I kept reminding myself that “I live in EasyWorld where everything is easy and effortless”. I had asked the Universe sometime ago for the local currency equivalent of over 3000 USD that would cover my plane ticket, etc.

Guess what?!

Today I received 5000 USD from a friend who wanted to help me out!! Still gobsmacked, that I am for sure! Now I am looking forward to be beautifully reunited with the love of my life.
