I discovered The Secret in 2010 as I was waiting to join campus. I had gone to visit my cousin when I stumbled upon The Secret book in her library and I read the whole of it. I thought to myself, how weird, and did not take it seriously so I forgot about it.

I later joined campus the following year and continued with my studies. However when I was in my last semester of fourth year, many things were not working out in my life and I was going through a difficult time.

One evening I was going through the internet and I came across an article on the power of positive thinking and the law of attraction. I immediately remembered The Secret and decided to give it a shot. I decided to use it to pass my final exam because the whole semester I was feeling exhausted and did not have the zeal to study. I just wanted to finish school.

In the previous three years, I had done quite well in my exams and by 3rd year I had high points that matched a first class honours. However, I was afraid that my fourth year results would make me drop since I was not studying seriously. Therefore, a few weeks before the exam I said to myself I will get 74 points so that I maintain my first class. I kept writing down and saying to myself that I will get 74 points in fourth year. I continued doing this even after the exam while I was at home and remained positive and believed it would happen. I did my best to feel good always and expect the best. I even wrote down the grades I would get in each unit.

Finally when the results were out, my lecturer called me and told me I had 73 points and that I was the best in my class! This is just a point less than what I hoped for and I was very happy because I had maintained the first class honours! Surprisingly, all the grades I had written down were exactly 1 unit more than what I needed for an A hence the 73 points and I jumped up with joy.

The Secret really works if you believe and have faith no matter how tough your situation is. I now hope to attract my dream job and an awesome relationship and I’m sure I will be posting that story soon. Thank you Rhonda for sharing The Secret with us.
