I know this is a common intro, but it truly feels good to do, so I will continue: Thank you Universe, Rhonda Byrne and the many amazing thinkers of history!

I was quite young when first introduced to The Secret, around the beginning of middle school. The concept was introduced to me by my mother’s close friend, who I am extremely thankful for. The odd thing is though, is that I had some knowledge of it before receiving the book, The Secret. I remember always wanting to improve my grades in elementary school and having my mother tell me, “If you can set your mind to it, you can do it.” Low and behold, I was able to get straight A’s in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade! I was very proud of my accomplishments.

Fast forward a few years: I am now in a new house and a new city, sitting in front of my laptop next to my best friend. For some reason I got a sudden jolt of inspiration to show my friend a watch I had my eyes set on. I went to Google and searched in the images. I found the watch I wanted immediately and asked my friend: “Isn’t it beautiful?” She responded positively but didn’t give much thought to it afterward. In the moment I remember feeling a great uplifting emotion that I quickly released thereafter.

The next few days I went about my business, completely forgetting about the incident with my friend. I believe this to be the key to the manifestation. You must have the belief and behavior of a child. Children let go of what they cannot control and simply live in the “now”.

My mother had invited one of her friends over during this period, the same one that gave me The Secret book. And guess what? She brought me a gift and what was inside? Yep. You are right. It was the exact same watch! A smile spread over my face.

The Secret can work for anyone, anywhere, anytime. Why? Because you are human and the universe has placed a special energy within you. You just have to believe in your potential. You are not the exception so stop believing you can’t while so many here on this website and around the world, can. Stop playing the victim role. You want something? Believe you are worthy and that it will come with ease and the universe will believe as well. You are the universe.
