Last year I was in a job that I thought was “secure” but it was low pay, I always ran out of cash after each paycheck, and to me was a “sweat-shop” that felt like a treadmill.
The Secret came along. I bought the DVD, and watched it multiple times. I like the way it is succinct, and gets you into the solution quickly. I shared it with others – Our Tai Chi group watched it together.
One Day my boss pulls me into his office and says “this isn’t working out, I’m letting you go.” I say “thanks for the job, it helped me get by in hard times!”
A friend gives me suggestions based on the secret, and I apply them. I meditate, and do affirmations. I also do as much job search activity as possible.
Then, this friend starts a Secret Discussion Group at Unity Church in Dallas. The day of the first class, I get a call for an interview… A month later I’m working at that almost-billion-dollar company. I got a 50% pay increase from the sweat shop job, I work 25% as hard, they pay me to travel and are generous with expenses, I have friendly, laid back people all around me, I will affect bigger projects than the last company I worked for made altogether, the list goes on and on!
Mantra: “Life is Good!”
