Skeptic to believer!

I must confess that I am a very skeptical and negative person by nature. That was until I heard and then was given the secret to The Secret. The year was 2006; winter and we were going through a hard time with the expected loss due to cancer of a dear family member. I tried to get answers through my (supposed) faith/ religion. Only to come up with absolutely nothing and a terrible loss of a family member.
Dejected and angry I went on a crusade to debunk religion and faith to everyone I knew. On one of these destructive rants by e-mail to my friend, I ran across a website I was using as support for my arguments against faith. When I noticed a little icon in the right corner that said The Secret. That was when my life changed. Not knowing what it was, I assumed it was yet another religious site. I reviewed the web site The Secret like a man posessed, hoping to once again desecrate religon.
I downloaded the 90 minute video at home. After the video was through, I was elated and amazed. I immediately wanted to try and prove its claims. I asked the universe for $200 dollars. Now that was a Friday evening about 6pm. Saturday afternoon 2pm the mail arrived and there it was, a check for $256.00 from my credit card company. I never get good mail, only bills. Assuming this was a mistake I made some calls to the credit card company to see why I received this check. Seems the day I paid off the card the company made a math error and I overpaid my account. Cool!
My next challenge was parking. My biggest daiy frustration at work is parking. Whoever designed our buildings neglected to include enough parking for the occupants. I have not been able to get a parking spot close to the door since I arrived, which has been a total of 7 years. That was until March 2007. Now I always get a spot right in front by the main entrance.
My one small step has led to an all out run. In April 2007 I made my gratitude list, I am so happy and great-full now that
..! The top three items on this list were a new car, money, and to be reunited with long lost family members. To date all three have hit home with a bang. I could go on and on but I will rap this up by saying THE SECRET WORKS PEOPLE! I cant wait for number 4. Lets just say BMW, 550i. 🙂
