My Victorious Outcome!
Submitted by: Anonymous
CanadaA woman who is truly grateful for all she has in her life.
An altercation occurred at work between myself and a man I have worked with for more than 5 years. This man spoke very rudely to me and when I told him not to speak with me this way, he grabbed me by both of my arms and brought his face within a few inches of mine and yelled at me again.
I felt his behavior was threatening and I reported this incident to my manager. She was obligated to report it to our Human Resources department as it violated our Workplace Violence policy. She also spoke with the man I made the complaint against and he said it never happened! I couldn’t believe he would lie about it and against me like that. Our Workplace Violence policy states that an investigation must take place when there are allegations of violence at work and senior managers were scrambling to put one in place.
There were no witnesses to the event and I was beginning to feel like nothing would come out of this complaint except for me appearing to be a liar. Then I remembered the Law of Attraction.
I began to write in my journal every day about how grateful I was that this man finally told the truth and that I received a victorious outcome to my complaint. I put a date on it, too. I wrote that he would tell the truth before September 11, 2015 and that management would take swift action toward this policy violation and move him to another office so I would never have to work with him again. Every day I wrote in my journal and imagined my manager coming to me and saying to me that this man changed his statement and admits he threatened me at work. I didn’t worry about the reasons why he would do it or how it would take place. I just felt and visualized my manger calling me into her office and telling me he changed his statement and told the truth.
I don’t think you have to guess what happened.
My manager called me into her office prior to September 11, 2015 and told me he changed his statement and admitted to losing control and physically intimidating me at work. I couldn’t believe it! I am so happy and grateful for my victorious outcome!
The investigation was stopped and the resolution process is not complete yet but my manager is recommending that he be removed from our office so I may work comfortably and without the fear of being threatened again.
Believe that you can control the outcome of any situation by feeling and visualizing the results you desire. It will happen if you maintain this attitude. I hope my story inspires you.
