Thank you Universe and thank you to The Secret Team. I am truly grateful for the blessings that this book has brought me.

The Secret came into my life 4 years ago and since then I’ve been able to manifest my dream business, my graduation, my dream friendships, healing family relationships and my dream home.

One thing I hadn’t mastered was romantic relationships. Until recently.

Four years ago I became single and after sometime on my own a dear friend suggested I start dating again, just to get my confidence back. She said her cousin had a friend who was also single and would I be willing to meet him? I wasn’t sure but something told me to just feel the fear and do it anyway!

That was on a Thursday, by the Monday he had reached out to organize a date. Nervously I went to meet him along with my friend. We met in a bar in London and as I walked through the doors the nervousness seemed to disappear. My friend was in front of me and greeted him first. I couldn’t see his face. Then as she moved, our eyes met and as corny as it sounds a spark ignited in me. The evening went so well, we talked and had so much in common and were so affectionate with one another ,it was as if we had known each other all our lives.

One bit of information my friend had told me was that he had a son. This didn’t bother me, but I do wish I had known before agreeing to the date. Anyway, a week after our first date we met up again and talked for hours, from 8 pm to 3 am; talk, talk ,talk!

Another week I went on holiday and contact seemed to stop. I was worried but just got on with what I had to do. A month passed and I reached out to him. He apologized for being off the radar and the dates started again. I felt our bond growing and he made it clear how he felt about me and I was excited to continue getting to know him. Until one day when it all came to a stop.

Our friend told me “Don’t give up, he does care for you”.

We were due to meet one night and I didnt hear from him. I later found out something had happened to his son. We didn’t see or speak for 3 months until one day he contacted me and had told me his son was now living with him and he was sorry for not contacting me.

I knew it was time to manifest what I really wanted with this person or this yoyo of seeing him one minute and not hearing from him the next would continue. I started watching The Secret DVD twice a week. The books inspired me a lot and I started to see things differently and more positively. I read the book again, and listened to the audio before bed. I changed my phone screen saver to a happy picture we had taken that night at the bar on our first date.

And most importantly, I wrote a letter to the universe about how I wanted every aspect of my life to be including having him in it. I carried on going out with friends, doing exercise, visiting places and people that make me happy. I prayed and meditated.

I did this for 8 weeks. At times I cried but made sure I changed my vibrations as quickly as possible.

One evening I went to visit the friend that had put us together. After being there an hour, there was a knock on the door. I didn’t think anything of it, but when I heard a man’s voice and her husband was already home, I was curious. it was him!

As he walked into the room my heart pounded. I looked up and there he was. I felt the same spark I did that first night. He didn’t say hello, he just rushed to hug me.

He explained that he loved me and knew I was the one but his son obviously came first. I explained that I also thought he was the one and that his son wasn’t an issue for me, in my heart I loved them both.

Fast forward a year and what an amazing year it has been. We are engaged to marry on 4th July 2018. I will not only be marrying the man of my dreams but I will be gaining a son who I adore and treat as my own. We are also expecting our first child, Marley, in 3 weeks. I am so happy and grateful.
