Holiday Travel

Lakewood, COWe all know that holiday weekends with the airlines can be hectic at best. I am sharing my experience that occurred during my travel adventure to see my family on Easter weekend. Upon arriving at the Denver Inter’l Airport for a 7am flight, I found it crowded but reasonable and my flight was On Time. Here’s where the story changes…
After all passengers were loaded on a jet plane holding well over 150 people, the pilot makes an annoucement that Chicago (my connection) is experiencing major delays and wants our flight to sit in Denver for 40 minutes before taking off!! Well, that doesn’t work for me I decided & had already pulled out The Secret book in preparation to read during my flight. So, I decided to meditate very earnestly about our current situation. My repeating thoughts & strong feelings were:
“This plane is taking off right now.”
“Chicago airport is organized and on schedule.”
“I am reaching my connecting flight.”
“My connecting flight in Chicago is on time.”
After sitting at the gate for about 5 more minutes, the pilot speaks again and says, “We have come into some good fortune. We have been released to take off & will arrive in Chicago a few minutes early.”
What a wonderful feeling!! I felt like standing up & cheering & telling everyone that I made this happen!
Oh yeah, my flight in Chicago was on time and I made it to my final destination early. What a fabulous feeling to experience The Secret at work. I’m moving on to bigger and better things…you should go with me…it’s a wonderful trip!!
