First I want to say thank you to every single person on The Secret team for introducing this wonderful way of life to us.

Well this particular story I’m about to tell you is not how something magical happened to me but how much your thoughts really do become real.

I was at a friend’s house with a few other friends and it was getting pretty late and I was ready to call it a night. I didn’t drive that night, my friend drove me and well, that friend ended up falling asleep.

I was trying to be nice and let him sleep but I had work really early the next morning and I wanted to leave. In my head I kept telling myself that he’s going to tell me to take a cab home. Almost 30 minutes passes and he’s still asleep and I’m still thinking; watch, when I wake him up he’s going to tell me to take a cab, just watch.

Well I woke him up and guess what he says??

“Can you just call a cab, I’m to tired.”

I was so frustrated!! I threw my phone and gave him such an attitude.

Right after that happened it hit me, I’m being so ungrateful. I was hanging out at a friends house when I didn’t need to be invited, they wanted my company and not my bratty attitude. I didn’t even have to drive, I got picked up and I don’t even think I said thank you. I didn’t take into consideration the type of day my friend was having, maybe he had a long day. Driving tired is dangerous and obviously I don’t want my friend to get into an accident but I didn’t consider that, I just wanted to get home.

I changed my thoughts right away and apologized. I told him not to worry about it and I even admitted to being ungrateful towards him.

Turns out my other friend offered to take us both home!!

Moral of this story, YOUR THOUGHTS REALLY DO BECOME REAL.

I’ve learned that negative thoughts just lead to bigger negative situations. I concentrated so much on that negative thought that it manifested and became real within minutes. So if I have great thoughts about wonderful things coming into my life, that has to manifest itself and become real too!

I’m learning how to be more grateful towards everyone and everything in my life. It’s difficult at first but there’s so much to be grateful for that I never realized before reading The Secret books.
