I don’t really know how to begin so I will start by thanking everyone. Thank you to Rhonda and team, thank you all of The Secret teachers around the world and thank you to all of you reading.

I have always used The Secret without knowing and as I grew up I knew that there was something very special out there beyond what we could see in front of us. But that was that, and I grew up with the same negative misconceptions that most do. Until that very special thing found me. I don’t even remember the very first time I was introduced to The Secret, I feel like its been quite an affair!

Just last year I read The Magic. I’ve attracted many things over the years, the city where I live, clothes, designer handbags, my apartment decor, the car that I wanted, partners, etc. I’ve attracted by using vision boards, treasure maps, gratitude journals, Magic Checks, feng shui, staying positive and keeping faith in the universe.

The story that I want to share is one of my biggest manifestations to date.

This year my beautiful daughter turned 15 years old, and in my culture a coming of age celebration happens at this age. When I first started planning this celebration it started out very small and simple as I thought I had a very limited budget. Mind you this is like planning a wedding minus the marriage. I started out with $5,000 that I had from my tax return, but just my dream venue alone charged much more than that and I still had a laundry list of vendors to pay.

I decided to imagine calling the venue and that they graciously give me a great deal that I could work with. I did this imaginary phone call in my mind every day for weeks. When I finally called the coordinator she was very helpful and she gave me options that were better, but not ideal as the price per person was still over my budget.

The next day I decided to sign the venue contract even though it was still out of my budget. I would use The Secret to figure out the difference, pay other vendors and pay my regular bills. This was a huge leap of faith, some people would call it a risk, but if you really believe, you know it’s really not.

I did my part every day. Vision boards, treasure maps and I focused every day on exactly what I wanted. And day by day vendors gave me deals, discounts or breaks. People started asking me how they could help me, my parents received an unexpected check and gave me the money.

But even with all of this help I was still short, I still owed the venue the bulk of the balance. After paying the florist, the dress, a choreographer, seat covers, shoes, a professional mariachi band, etc., I still owed the venue $6000. I had tapped out my friends and family as they already were helping with the tiara, DJ, photo booth and cake. The balance was due in a few days and the celebration was also in a weeks time! I really needed the universe ASAP!!!
I had no idea what I was going to do!

Then a friend suggested I apply for a personal loan, I applied with my credit union and was not approved. But I didn’t give up. The loan officer at my credit union suggested another credit union since I had good credit. I signed up online and went to bed.

When I woke up I checked my status and I was approved!!!

I quickly called the credit union and they confirmed I was approved for $6000!

I started crying because of the overwhelming gratitude that consumed every fiber of my being. For the days leading up to the party I was so relived, happy and just completely and utterly grateful! The party was a huge success! And every time I make the loan payment I give thanks for that unforgettable party!
