A few years back I wrote my story to share the wonderful news of how it took me seven weeks to turn my life around. I’m happy to say that I still have a great job, amazing benefits, and everything else that went with it. I haven’t yet made the million but I know it’s coming, and I trust in my higher power that it will when the time is right.

I helped a friend relocate not so long ago, including a hookup to an amazing job, with relocation package etc. Kind of how I got to move. What I found though is that there were times when there was some serious doubt on my friends part. I figured out ways of pulling him back to the positive side, with explanations like, stop worrying about it, it’s going to be OK and just trust that things will work out. But above all else, stop stressing, you’re punishing yourself, everything takes time and it’s fine.

In The Secret, we’re told you can’t affect anyone else with The Secret, and I do believe very strongly in this point. But what you can do is, if you align your thoughts to the same positive thinking about the same thing then the results are doubly powerful. And this is what my friend has experienced.

What I also wanted to share with you is that you can’t delay. When I said in my original post in 2011 that it took seven weeks, it really was that fast. Perhaps for some of you that might be slow, perhaps you want that thing you desire so badly now, and if it doesn’t come it just won’t be good enough. Well as The Secret also mentioned, the moment you doubt, the universe will say “Your wish is my command” and poof, your dreams are back as being dreams never coming to fruition. Do not doubt.

I know this is a hard concept to get around, and it’s really difficult to pull yourself out of a situation but you have to. Someone had asked me how do I remain positive? It’s not easy, and I’m probably going to downplay exactly how hard I found it, but because I had to make my life better, there was just no option to stay in a bad place. You do what ever it is you need to, to get out. Listen to some classical music. It has to be comfortable to listen to and it must put you in a good mood. Some people find going for a walk helps, or some another type of exercise.

Always maintain your list of gratitude and read it. This is the foundation of all my success.
