My Everlasting Change.
Submitted by: Nirisha
MauritiusHi, I am Nirisha. I am 18 and before I read or saw the movie The Secret I was rather a pessimist about everything. I would picture the worst senario of everything I would do.
So my story begins last year, when I was introduced to The Secret by one of my best friends.
At first I did not really take it into much consideration. But then I went through a rough time with my grades and my friend suggested The Secret again. It made me wonder how special that book must be if she kept mentioning it over and over again.
So I read it and it got so interesting, so I read the other two books, The Power and The Magic. I was determined to change my grades for my last year of high school.
I started by writing down the things I was grateful for and I would read those every day. I would also write down the day I would go and fetch my results, everything was described in details just like reading a book. It gave me the impression that I was already there. I would also write my grades everywhere in my room, on my whiteboards and on my wall notes! Every time I would set my eyes on the A’s I would smile and whisper thank you.
After the exams I was rather nervous from time to time but every time this would happen I would visualize my perfect results. I even made a model HSC result that I used as my back screen on my phone and iPod.
Then finally the day arrived. I was really nervous and then when I went to look I saw it had 5 As!!!
I got 5 As exactly like in my model results! A + in mathematics!!! I was so happy and grateful that I started crying out loud and got my mom worried!
I want to let you know guys that nothing is impossible, have faith and never let go. Thank you Rhonda and the team for everything. I couldn’t be more happy!
Tomorrow I have my driver’s license test, wish me luck!
Bye bye, love you guys!
