The Secret works for everyone; you just need to believe.

My mother introduced me to The Secret at the age of 16. I read the book. and it changed my life. After a while, I went through some hardship and forgot about the secret power. I brought about negative things and events in my life. I ended up with depression and anxiety by 17.

I ran away from home to escape the abuse. I lived with my partner, and I fell pregnant. I got a little unit for us to live in. Then, once my daughter Imogan was born, we moved into a bigger house. Then, we moved to Melbourne to live with my adopted sister. Things didn’t work out there either. So it was back to our home town. I celebrated my 20th birthday and again brought about a negative event on that very night.

That night, I lay in bed thinking about how I wanted to change my life. I wanted to finally be able to be fully happy. I remembered the book my mother had handed to me when I was 16. I believed in The Secret and set out the next day to a local bookstore to purchase it. At this time there were so many things that I wanted. Happiness, wealth, and finally meeting my younger siblings on the other side of the country. I was adopted and me and my siblings we were separated across Australia. I also wanted a new home for my family.

I finished the book and worked on every aspect of The Secret. My partner called me crazy and made fun of me. I didn’t listen because it didn’t matter what he thought. I was in the middle of changing my life. I had found a home suitable for my little family. I thanked the Universe for my home and I gave gratitude with my gratitude rock that my partner had bought home from a fishing trip one day. I visualized us all living in the new home. making a cup of tea, and cooking dinner on the stove. I even sat down and wrote out the address over and over with my name.

Nothing happened for about two weeks. I almost gave up. So I walked into the real estate place to look for somewhere new. But to my surprise, the property manager came out and said to me, “Are you still wanting to move into Raglan Street?” Of course, I almost jumped for joy and said yes.

So, the process began. My partner was stressing about the rent and bond. But me, knowing The Secret, told him not to worry. It will all work out.

Also, at the same time as this, I received a call from a lady in Darwin who was my sister’s case manager, and she told me that their government was going to pay my funds for me to fly to Darwin to meet my siblings for the first time. They paid for my flights and my apartment. So, while my partner moved us into our new home, I was basking in the beautiful sun with my siblings in Darwin. It was the best week of my life. and I was very sad to leave.

Before I left for Darwin, I was already running out of money and still had rent in advance to pay. My whole paycheck went to the rent. I only had enough money to get home from Melbourne. But as I was happy, I didn’t worry too much. I knew the Universe would bring about something positive. I could feel it.

Before I entered the plane, my brother’s carers had given me an envelope. I was told to open it on the plane. As I left with tears in my eyes and on my cheeks, I walked through the gates and entered my plane. Crying still. I opened the envelope and inside was a note from them.

It read, “Ashlee, this will help you get by. Lovely meeting you and Imogan.” And inside was $150. I cried some more and felt grateful. This was going to feed us for the next week.

I settled back in at our new home, happy and feeling wonderful. I missed my siblings, though.

Before I flew to Darwin, after hearing about the siblings situation, I decided that I wanted to adopt two of them in the most need of help. I have 5 siblings. The eldest is 19 and her own person. James is 17 and living with a lovely family Corey is 15 and living in resi care. Sharna is 13 and living in foster care and Daniel is 12 and living with the most wonderful people. Sharna is unhappy, and Corey is alone. My next step to happiness is to use The Secret power to adopt my siblings and live together in happiness.
