This is my second story of manifesting exactly what I want.

I was laid off from my job that I had worked at for 20 months, just before Christmas, without any notice. I didn’t want to leave Dubai as I really enjoyed my life here. The only thing way to stay here is to have a residence visa which is only given by your employer.

I knew of The Secret and was aware that I had attracted this. I had been unhappy with my job, salary and management for a long period of time.

Weeks passed and I heard nothing from the jobs I had applied for. I was getting stressed and nervous and cried occasionally, however I used to come back and read similar stories on this site to motivate me, stories of jobs and situations like mine.

After 3 months, I was slowly beginning to lose hope, but one of the main points LOA teaches is to believe. Keep believing and act as if you have it. I realized I was not doing this properly. Some of the jobs I had applied for were not even in my field.

So I went back and made notes of exactly what kind of job I wanted. I got very clear, what hours, what job title, salary, even the distance from home.

I decided not to apply to any jobs as I was stopping what I had asked for and just let the universe do all it’s magic. I just believed and believed that before my notice period came to an end I would get this job.

And of course a day before my visa was going to be cancelled I got a call from the operations manager from a huge international named company asking me if I was able to start immediately.

The board had reviewed my experience and skills and needed someone of my capabilities. The director flew out to come and see me personally. Of course I was offered the salary I wanted, plus I was asked to travel to different countries as part of my role with the company.
