When I first watched The Secret, I was at a low point in my life. My business projects couldn’t seem to be sustained, we were losing money, and I had no idea what to do next.
As an independent filmmaker, I was given the chance to screen a short I had directed and produced a few years back. In the Q and A that followed, an audience member asked what I wanted to do next. “I want to do a feature,” I replied without thinking about it, “I don’t know what it will be about, but I’m sure the answer will come to me.”
Less than a month later, I was on the couch, depressed, when my wife suggested I watch “The Secret”. My life was changed. I suddenly understood what I had been doing wrong all of these years. I was excited!!!
When Morris Goodman’s segment came on, I was mesmerized! “Has this ever been a feature film before?” I paused the DVD, did some research, and discovered it had not. I immediately decided that I would be the one to make it!
A few months later, I was in Morris’ home, interviewing him, reading his autobiography, and adapting it into a screenplay. Now we are working on casting the film, financing and building it’s audience! (If you’d like to know more about it, please visit our web site at http://miraclemanfilm.com)
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Rhonda, for being such an inspiration for me in so many ways!!!
Namaste,
Brian Jude
