We decided we wanted to move house. My partner wanted to be nearer the sea and trees and places where he could walk to cafes. The houses in our area are taking 1 to 2 years to sell so we decided to rent out our house and re-mortgage. We looked at properties in our price range but there was nothing that we liked or came up to our desires. Suddenly I came across The Secret DVD. After watching it I told my partner that we should look for our dream house and not the price.

We then searched for the house we wanted, near the sea, with trees and cafes. We found the most perfect house for us. It was even painted in our favourite colours, it had an en-suite shower I love, and a bathroom which my partner loves. A dishwasher that we wanted and all new appliances. A perfect garden with views over woodland and the front looking over a nature reserve with a 5 minute walk to the beach. It has a separate garage and, is in a private cul-de-sac so there is no traffic noise. As soon as I walked in it felt like home. I could go on and on with the features and benefits that we wanted.

It was way out of our price range but the agent let slip that it was owned by a bank and that they might accept a lower offer. So we put in a cheeky offer that we would never have dared to do before, and for the next 2 weeks we would drive to the house as if we were driving home. Park up at the house and then go for walks through the trees and nature reserve and down to the beach. We talked as if the house was ours. I visited gyms near-by ready to change and talked about where our furniture would go. When we drove back to our old house we would thank the universe for the house we were living in and thanked it for our new house. After 2 weeks we got the reply from the bank that they had accepted our offer. We jumped for joy and thanked The Universe. We would never have got our dream house without The Secret and we are now using it every day. Finally I feel that I do deserve the life I want and I know that more is on the way.
