In 1994, I was diagnosed as having schizophrenia. My life was miserable and I lived in poverty. I lived 13 years of irregular unemployment, 3 to 4 times a year I would have of episodes of relapse, and suffered from low-self esteem, paranoia, hallucinations and delusions. In short, I experienced extreme mental suffering. My life has been in “hell”. My family was disappointed with me for having such a disease and some of my brothers were even angry at me. Although my mother and some of my sisters were supportive, I feel they were fed up with dealing with my illness.

In 2004, my ex-wife abandoned us and I was left with no money to feed and pay for my 2 children’s education. No money or job, I was in total desperation. My sister advised me to give away my children to my mother-in-law because I don’t have money to rear them. My depression increased.

In August 2007, I sought advise from a Buddhist Foundation and a man there counseled me and let me watch The Secret Movie. When I watched it, I found new hope for my life. I started smiling and started to plan my life. Now I know, there is hope for me. I asked the man who counseled me to lend me the DVD copy of The Secret. I watched it over and over again. I asked my mother to help me study a short course and after finishing it I will find a job. Everyday, before I go to school, I watched The Secret film and let myself be inspired that no matter what delusions or hallucinations I might encounter in going to school was I am determined to ignore it and I convinced myself I will finish my course and followed the advise in The Secret to focus on what you want and not on what you don’t want. I did everything The Secret advised to me do. I visualized having my desires and accomplishing my goal. I practiced being grateful always especially to God who gave me a chance and hope to resurrect my life from hopelessness. I changed my vibration, everything.

It was not easy at first but because I was determined, my life started to change. I finished my short course. After two months finishing my course I got a job, but sadly my illness still deprived me and let me suffer from hallucinations and paranoia. I resigned, but I did not lose hope. I continued watching The Secret.

After 10 months of continued study of the Secret principles I finally got another job. I became a lecturer for the course I studied. I attracted the right medicine for me so I got my chemical balance back in my brain. I met a lady and she is now my second wife. She inspires me and supports me in everything I do.

In just one year of studying and digesting The Secret and the Law of Attraction, my life changed. In the first quarter of 2012, I became a lecturer for 5 schools and am continually increasing my clients. My finances increased and I can now afford to purchase some online courses for self-development and expand my research on law of attraction. I attracted good and highly inspirational books and now own a mini-library. I have my 2 children with me and we are now one and new happy family. I still thank the man who shared The Secret film with me, and he is now my mentor and counselor.
