Hello everyone!
First of all, thank you to Rhonda and The Secret Team for sharing The Secret with the world. You have made so many dreams come true, so many smiles come up, and so many lives grow magnificent. THANK YOU!
I was introduced to The Secret in 2010 by my amazing Mum (Mum, I LOVE you so much!). She bought the book for me and my sister and we have been trying to explore the knowledge ever since. Although there have been ups an downs on the way, there have also been so many incredible things happening to me. One is my wish about a theatre coming true.
I have always desired to perform. I have never taken any studies in theatre nor in performance (I studied law instead), but it has always been my deepest dream to be on a stage, look at the audience and put on breathtaking performances.
In February this year, preparing for an upcoming 6-month internship placement abroad, I made a list of things that I wanted to do when I move to the other country. It was a 9-point list and one of the points was that I perform in a theatre. Throughout the whole February I used to read the list in my mind and visualize each point and every activity that I wanted to manifest in my life. So I visualized myself on a stage performing and my family in the front row staring at me in happiness and sweet disbelief. I did this visualizing exercise without fail every day. Then in March I moved and started the internship.
Days passed on and I forgot to practice the visualization (I must admit that it was a stressful transition from one country to another and so I was very absorbed by many things). Then, at one point in the middle of the internship, my boss at the company where I did the internship (a very respectful and prominent chap in the legal business) called me and asked to come to his office. I got stressed as I thought that he wanted to reprimand me for something (it’s common with bosses, right?) or maybe depute some new tasks. Anyway, I went to his office and there he goes: “Marcin, outside office hours I am performing in a small theatre company and the director is currently looking for a young lad who would play a young lord/soldier in an upcoming play.”
I could not believe this! “I’m in.” I uttered without hesitation with goosebumps all around my body.
It was not until next day that I came to think of what has happened. It was just an exact response of The Universe to my wish from the 9-point list. I wanted to perform in a theatre and here comes the offer. The most incredible thing (I have goosebumps writing this now) is the way my wish has manifested. Who would have thought that my wish to perform in a theatre would come through my internship at a law company? More than that, who would have thought that it would come from the company’s head!
My story is just a proof to the fact that there are no barriers to The Universe and the Law of Attraction. This is just an unbelievable force that will give you anything that you ask for. Look, I have been asking for this for one month and it came just like that. It’s so incredible! The most important thing is that we never give up. Never give up on your dreams but keep true to them. Ask yourself what your heart dreams of and go for it. No matter what! No matter what others say. No matter what your community, family, friends or teachers might think. It’s YOU and YOUR LIFE that matters! Be strong and stay motivated. If something discourages you, then close your eyes or look at the sky, smile and say to yourself: ‘Ah, so much better than this awaits me’ and think about your dream. It does come true! Just imagine it in your head, believe, feel it, be grateful for it and then it will come, no matter what! Life is so amazing, as Rhonda said so many times, “life does not happen to us – it responds to us!”
Just for the conclusion, we have played four performances altogether and all of them during one summer weekend in a beautiful countryside castle. How great is that? It was ‘All’s well that ends well’ play by Shakespeare. Don’t you think the title is meaningful too?
Believe in your dreams and BE DREAMERS. Remember what Steve Jobs said, “Stay hungry and stay foolish.” Give love and help each other! Spread love!
