For the past year I had been feeling very breathless, mainly on exertion, but even sometimes while chatting to people! I decided to see my local doctor who sent me for x-rays on my chest. About a week I still hadn’t had the results, so rang my doctor to find out. He said that the x-ray showed that I may have emphysema or late on-set asthma. I quickly replied that how can I have emphysema is I don’t smoke and he said anyone can get it! He said I will get an appointment to see a consultant soon but not to worry it wasn’t life-threatening!!!!

I decided to look up on the internet what my doctor said I might have wrong with me and then wished I hadn’t!!! I got myself into a right state and was crying and saying that I didn’t want to die!

After a few days of misery and feeling depressed, I picked up a book I had bought a couple of months prior to all this called “THE POWER” and read the chapter I hadn’t got up to…”The Power And Health” and then carried on reading more and more of this wonderful book!

I started putting my hands on my chest saying that I had strong healthy lungs, a strong healthy body, strong healthy heart and strong healthy organs every day. I also imagined that when I went to see the consultant he would check me over and say that I had strong healthy lungs and that I needn’t come back to see him any more!

I wouldn’t talk about what my doctor said was wrong with me as that would mean I own the disease! I would say that there was nothing wrong with me and that I was perfectly healthy!

Reading “THE POWER” made me feel incredibly calm, strong, focused and powerful! Last Thursday I went to see the consultant. He chatted at first, then made me go up 2 flights of stairs twice to see how breathless I got. I had 2 breathing tests and 2 more x-rays as the first x-ray I’d had wasn’t very clear! Then when I went back to his consulting room afterwards he said my lungs were big, healthy lungs and that the reason for my breathlessness was hyperventilating and being a little bit overweight and unfit!

I am going to see a specialist nurse to teach me how to breathe properly so as to stop myself from hyperventilating and I am having long walks most days to get fit! I feel fantastic and love my life.

I know that I was never ill in the first place but I can only say that reading “THE POWER” made me feel good about myself and able to cope with the stress of it all. I am starting to understand about the universal law of attraction and am fascinated by it, so much so that I have bought “THE MAGIC” and “THE SECRET” as I want to learn everything and change my life for the better!
