June 15, 2012 I left my job, and woke up out of a coma two weeks later! I found myself completely lost, and in denial. I was in intensive care in the hospital. I was not told anything at first, but as I could see both my legs were in casts, both my feet were in casts, my ribs had tubes going into each side of me, I had a neck brace on, bandages all over and was hooked up to a breathing machine with a tube going all the way down my nose.

After feeling out of it for four days, I started to wonder and ask questions. I was told that my SUV went out of control and hit a guard rail on the freeway head on, I went out the windshield as my truck flipped and landed on me and broke both my legs and crushed my right hip and both of my lungs, and it damaged my spleen and some nerves. Also, that I died three times on the scene and twice in the the ICU.

The doctors said with the head injury and losing all 8 pints of my blood, that I would be brain dead and possibly never walk again. They asked my family to tell me good bye, because my odds were extremely low.

I used the Universe and it’s love and joy once before and it changed my life but I had forgotten since my accident. I was in the wheelchair one day watching The Secret on Netflix, and I started to use The Secret again. I told myself that I could walk at least two steps. Believe it or not, I stood up and took two steps, but I could not stop! I was so happy and into The Secret, I felt I could have flown at that moment.

I was so grateful and joyful. I value and love the small things in life more now than ever before, but also take long strides in using the Universe and succeeding big goals.
