I’d like to thank the secret team and God for the wonderful life that I am blessed with.

I have been dating a guy for two years. We are a couple as well as best friends. We share a lovely relationship. But things weren’t really that smooth for us. We used to fight a lot. I was crazy about him but he never seemed sure enough as to whether or not he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. We nearly broke up. But something always brought us back together.

Around 3 months back he said, “We should stop thinking about a future together as we are soon going to be living in separate countries.” The firm he worked for was sending him to KL and he wasn’t sure as to how long he would live there. I was shattered but happy for him at the same time as i have always wanted him to be happy. So i just smiled and wished him good luck. He seemed a bit sad. I returned home and told my roommate everything. She too felt sad. So we decided to go out somewhere. As we were walking, we came across a small book stall. I told her i wanted to buy a book so as to divert my mind. She quickly picked up a book and said, “You haven’t read this, have you? Read it. This book is going to change your life. It’ll make you strong.” The book was The Secret. I bought it but thought it to be some sort of self-help book. Yet I started reading. Just a few pages and my life started to change. My bf called up saying he couldn’t imagine living without me. I told him to relax and that everything will be fine.

He went to KL last month. Days passed and we didn’t talk properly as he was very busy. I understood and just relaxed. I kept telling myself that he was my husband and mine for life. I knew we were getting married soon. I decided the colour and style for my wedding dress, chose an engagement ring and even edited one of our pictures so as to look like we are husband and wife, dressed as bride and groom. I looked at it daily and expressed gratitude.

Finally the day came. Today, he called me to say just one thing: “MARRY ME. I HAVE DECIDED THAT I WANT TO SPEND THE REST OF MY LIFE WITH YOU. I LOVE YOU.”

I was stunned. It was like a dream but i started crying and said yessss.

It’s all about faith and knowing that you have been blessed with all that you desire. You just need to open your heart and receive it with gratitude.
