I was 12, in grade seven, and my Mom got me this book The Secret To Teen Power) The cover didn’t attract me at first, so I just left it on my bed for a few weeks, thinking this book would be like any other boring book. Then, I ran out of books to read and I decided to give this book a try. When I first read it, it literally changed my life. I was so shocked! My life had been full of depression. I had low self-esteem, everybody at school made fun of me, I thought I was ugly and fat.

At first, I tried to use the law of attraction at school, with no avail. I tried to use it with a guy I liked, thinking desperately that he would ask me out. After a month or so, I gave up. I figured that I just couldn’t believe hard enough for my life to be amazing, but I didn’t quit. Just because I didn’t apply it, didn’t mean I stopped reading it. I read the book over and over again for the whole year.

Then in grade eight I lost a lot of weight and I started seeing my true beauty. I decided to give ‘The Secret’ one more chance. I read it again, but didn’t fully grasp it. I saw the movie too and somehow the movie was more convincing to me than the book. Now I fully understand it. I’m living the life of my dreams, I have more friends than I ever could have imagined, I even have a boyfriend. I wake up every morning screaming with joy, thanking god for giving me a wonderful life! If you’re having doubts about the law, brush it off.

This law is real, believe me, it really turned my life upside down. Maybe it’s because you believe so much that it’s going to come true, that you’re brain gives it off as true. Whatever the reason, I’m grateful. Thank you to everybody who helped spread ‘The Secret!
