I remember crying all way home… the exam was terrible. I had not studied that well for the first year theory paper of stuctures. I was confident of passing in all subjects, infact was sure of topping one or two, but this specific subject was too tiring and I faced the fact that I was going to flunk.

I couldn’t be more depressed as I was one of the lucky few who always scored well with the least possible efforts. This could be a severe blow to me. I wished with all my heart that a miracle would take place and I would pass.

I had read The Secret two years before, but it had slipped into the subconscious corner of the brain. The vacations started and slowly the worries began to ebb away. I truly enjoyed those vacations. Whenever I remembered that terrible paper, I had to force my thoughts away from it and concentrate on being happy.

Then, a few days before my result, I saw The Secret lying about and I re-read it. With a new zeal, I started using it in my daily life. I excitedly put up a small paper on the wall where I would see it every morning. It was exactly the same size of my report card. I wrote the institute’s name on top and my name below it. Then I wrote all the subject names and the marks I wanted. I went to the extent of impersonating the faculty and principal’s signature and college stamp to make it look realistic! Below that I wrote “all clear” in capitals….

And to my surprise… I passed with 67 marks when 50 was the passing! It was a great miracle for me as I had barely attempted the paper for 42 marks!!! I passed all the subjects and topped a few! I dunno how the miracle took place but I’m entirely grateful to the people who made me aware of The Secret and the Team of The Secret for sharing it with us.
