My life was very horrible prior to reading the book “The Secret,” and I was at the point of accepting the fact that I wasn’t going to be anything more than a street kid for the rest of life. I attend Kahuku High and Intermediate from back in 2005 to 2011. My life was not only heading in the wrong direction, but it was heading that way very quickly. I was broke all the time and I always wanted the finer things in life. I mean who doesn’t?

I made the decision to start selling drugs due to the fact that, thats all I ever knew how to do. I made a lot of money, dont get me wrong but when people asked me what I did for a living, I found no pride in telling them that I did what I did. One day I stumbled upon The Secret and thought I might as well read the damn thing, not knowing what was in store. I was instantly facinated and drawn to this book. But I also realized that I was failing my classes and running out of time. I read about a man who hated his life because of the people he worked with, and how by using the law of attraction, he caused them to no longer tease and mock him.

My finance teacher was very strict and I knew that she wasn’t going to give me the opportunity to make any work up and automatically fail me. I started telling people about The Secret and all that it could do for everyone, but people thought I was crazy. When it was time for class, I found out that my teacher was going to be out for the rest of the year due to surgery. I took the opportunity to ask my substitue teacher if I could create a lesson for the class based around the book The Secret. It just so happened that she had read the book as well. Long story short, was when I began the lesson, we had a new student come into our class believing everything I told her. Key word “Believing”.

I passed that class with an A+ and I ended up meeting someone who gave me the love and support that I needed to change my life around. Since I was seven I was on my own. Now I’m blessed with a warm shower, three meals and a home. I never thought that I would ever make it this far. Soaring through the sky like a shooting star. I hope my family’s finally watching me now, cause I’m going to the top and I aint ever coming down!
